It took me a while to tell you that I am leaving the country. I came to spend the last two months in Belém do Pará, but the truth is that these last few months have been nothing more than a huge, festive, and loving farewell.
I was delighted to receive the news that I had been accepted into several master’s programs that I had applied for at the beginning of the year, and I only found out about the best surprise when I was already here in Belém: I will be returning to Toulouse, my favorite city in the world. I was accepted as a master’s student in the CARMA program (Master Création Artistique, Recherche et pratique du Monde de l’Art) in the Université Jean Jaurès … and I have been so happy and numb these past few weeks that I decided to keep the good news to myself for a while. But the time has finally come to leave. Today I am returning to Rio de Janeiro and will make a quick trip to São Paulo to say goodbye to my family and friends. On August 14, I will be landing in the Ville Rose. ♥
This admission was only possible thanks to the support of loved ones who helped me with translation, money transfers, study material tips, methodology for writing the preliminary project, among many other things. Many different people were involved in this process of making one person’s dream come true! I’m forever grateful.
So à bientôt! See you all Toulouse.
