This is my first time participating in #drawthisinyourstyle based on a drawing by the wonderful Juliana Rabelo. As I have been away from projects throughout this process of adapting to a new country—whose language, by the way, I still don’t master—I thought it would be worth recording a little watercolor sketch here. This challenge was really cool! I hope to participate more often. Below is Juliana’s original drawing, so we can compare:

Just a pair of cute macaws that I made for Gabi. ♥

Juliana told me that Honey was the most adorable Golden Retriever. Her passing was a very painful loss for the whole family. So, some time later, Ju decided to pay tribute to this little dog who had been such a companion, and presented the family with a watercolor portrait of Honey. The process was recorded on video, which you can see below.
